The IMDC Young Ambassador title is an honorary designation awarded to outstanding participants of the International Mediation & Diplomacy Competition. It recognizes young leaders who demonstrate excellence in diplomacy, mediation, ethical leadership, and global peacebuilding.
Young Ambassadors represent the values of IMDC worldwide and become lifelong members of the IMDC community, contributing to dialogue, international cooperation, and the promotion of peaceful conflict resolution.
By Presidential Resolution, team leaders and winners of IMDC 2025 are officially granted the lifetime honorary title:
"ALUMNI IMDC YOUNG AMBASSADOR"
Their names and signatures are forever inscribed in the
IMDC Red Book of Young Ambassadors, the official historical archive of the Competition.
As future diplomats, mediators, presidents, ministers, attachés, or peacebuilders, they remain part of IMDC’s legacy.
I, a Young Ambassador of IMDC,
fully aware of the honor and responsibility entrusted to me,
solemnly pledge:
To protect human dignity, value life, and support the right of all peoples to safety and freedom.
To use mediation, diplomacy, and communication as the primary tools for resolving conflicts.
To remain respectful, impartial, tolerant, and empathetic in all circumstances.
To represent the hopes and aspirations of my generation and inspire young leaders worldwide.
To follow ethical principles, confidentiality, cultural respect, and professionalism.
To develop my skills and support future IMDC participants through knowledge and mentorship.
Wherever my path leads — public service, diplomacy, academia, or global leadership —
I will carry this title with honor and responsibility.
I affirm this oath.
