The Ring of the Peace Ambassador is one of IAMPE’s most meaningful global recognitions — created to honor those who bring peace through action, compassion, and moral courage.
It is not limited to presidents, diplomats, or officials; it is open to any person whose kindness and integrity inspire change in their community or beyond.
Through the Ring of the Peace Ambassador, IAMPE unites all recipients into a single symbolic circle — a global fellowship of people proving that empathy and courage still have the power to heal the world.
Created by the International Association of Mediators and Poly-Experts (IAMPE), the Ring of the Peace Ambassador is a symbol of living diplomacy — a recognition of those who heal divisions not through status or titles, but through compassion, courage, and genuine service to humanity.
Unlike traditional honors, this award has no political or institutional boundaries. It celebrates real people creating real peace — individuals whose everyday actions embody the IAMPE spirit of mediation, empathy, and unity.
In 2025, the Ring was presented to three exceptional figures whose work reflects this ideal:
Mr. Phedonas Phedonos, Mayor of Pafos, for his unwavering civic leadership and support of intercultural peace initiatives.
Mr. Andre Brown, IAMPE Ambassador for Europe, for building bridges of cooperation and promoting inclusive dialogue across nations.
Dra. Aracely Pérez, IAMPE Ambassador for Latin America, for advancing women’s participation and mediation diplomacy throughout the region.
Their stories remind us that peace is not a distant dream — it is a daily act of humanity.
Through the Ring of the Peace Ambassador, IAMPE continues to unite leaders, citizens, and changemakers into one circle of hope — proving that kindness remains the strongest form of diplomacy.
Together, they represent the living message of this award:
That peace is not created by position, but by purpose.
As many of you know, IAMPE has created a truly unique international award – the Ring of the Peace Ambassador. Unlike other honors, this award has no analog in the world. What makes it different?
It is not reserved for titled people – not only kings, presidents, mayors, or professors. Instead, it can be awarded to a simple peacemaker – someone whose actions and compassion bring more real change than governments often manage in a lifetime.
Each year, before the IMDC Competition, IAMPE recognizes 1–2 extraordinary individuals from around the globe who embody peace, kindness, and service through deeds, not just words or appearances.
This symbolic Ring unites all awardees into a circle of exceptional people who remind us that our planet can still be healed – that unconditional love, courage, and kindness are alive.
We are now opening the call for nominations 2026!
If you know a person who truly deserves this recognition, please submit your nomination for the Ring of the Peace Ambassador.
Deadline for submissions: January 1, 2026
After review, IAMPE will select two finalists, and the winners will be announced at the IMD Congress Phoenix 2026 in Armenia during the opening ceremony on June 26, 2026.
Let’s ensure this award finds the right person – the one who continues to inspire hope, peace, and humanity for us all.
