The “Her Diplomatic Legacy” section of the IAMPE Awards is dedicated to honoring the women whose courage, intellect, and diplomacy have shaped international relations throughout the centuries.
This living archive presents historical and contemporary women ambassadors, mediators, and peacebuilders, contextualized through their geopolitical eras, regional challenges, and global impact.
Here, IAMPE pays tribute to those who built bridges across civilizations — often in times when women’s voices were excluded from formal diplomacy — yet whose actions changed the course of nations.
“They spoke the language of peace before peace had a voice.”
