The Dominus Pacis Award is a distinguished honor presented to men whose leadership, service, and diplomatic or humanitarian contribution have advanced peace, reconciliation, dialogue, and global understanding.
This award recognizes integrity, strength of character, constructive leadership, and a lasting contribution to peacebuilding.
The men’s award line is inspired by the legacy of great peacemakers and ethical leaders whose example continues to guide international service and human dignity.
Presented to individuals whose leadership has contributed to conflict transformation, reconciliation, healing, or peacebuilding at local, national, or international level.
Presented to individuals whose moral leadership, service to humanity, and principled action have advanced dignity, justice, and social responsibility.
Presented to individuals whose professional or institutional work in mediation, diplomacy, negotiation, or international cooperation has strengthened dialogue and peaceful engagement.
Nominations may include the following:
diplomats
mediators
peacebuilders
humanitarian leaders
educators and advocates
public servants
institutional representatives
ambassadors and emerging leaders
individuals with proven contribution to peace, dialogue, and leadership
Self-nominations may be accepted where applicable, subject to review by the Awards Committee.
Nominees should demonstrate one or more of the following:
measurable contribution to peacebuilding, mediation, or diplomacy
ethical and responsible leadership
public, institutional, academic, humanitarian, or international impact
alignment with IAMPE values and mission
ability to serve as an example of integrity, service, and leadership
All nominations are reviewed by the IAMPE Awards Committee.
The selection process is based on:
relevance of achievements
documented impact
leadership quality
service record
alignment with award category
integrity and public reputation
The Committee reserves the right to request additional documentation or clarification before final determination.
Applicants or nominators may be asked to provide:
professional biography or CV
nomination statement
supporting evidence of achievements
media links, publications, or official references
recommendation letter(s), where applicable
portrait photograph for official use
Awardees may receive:
official IAMPE recognition
commemorative medal and/or trophy
certificate of distinction
public announcement and website feature
invitation to official ceremonies, conferences, or partner events
Applications and nominations must be submitted before:
15th December every two years
Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
