“Diplomatic Kitchen with Kristine explores gastronomy not as consumption,
but as a language of identity, perception, and negotiation.”- Kristine A.

“Tell me what you love to eat, and I will tell you who you are in negotiation and diplomacy.”
— Kristine Arzumanova
Narrative Mediator of Human Stories
There is a well-known proverb:
“If the Mountain does not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad goes to the Mountain.”
In diplomacy, we say:
“If dialogue does not come to the mediator — the mediator goes to the dialogue.”
— Kristine Arzumanova
“Taste reveals how we negotiate." Kristine A.
Diplomatic Kitchen with Kristine is an international media project exploring the human dimension of expertise across law, diplomacy, science, and beyond.
Developed under IAMPE, the project changes how we see professional identity — going beyond titles and achievements to show the personal stories, cultural backgrounds, and inner motivations that shape decision-making and negotiation styles.
At the heart of the project lies a unique concept:
“Tell me what you love to eat, and I will tell you who you are in negotiation and diplomacy.”
— Kristine Arzumanova
Through informal dialogue, shared coffee conversations, and culinary interaction, each episode invites experts to present not only their professional journey but also their “taste of identity”- expressed through food, culture, and personal reflection.
Inspired by the well-known proverb
“If the mountain does not come to Muhammad, Muhammad goes to the mountain." the project follows a mediation philosophy:
🔎 If dialogue does not come to the mediator, the mediator goes to the dialogue.
Crossing borders and disciplines, Diplomatic Kitchen builds bridges between people, cultures, and ideas, transforming conversation into a form of modern diplomacy.
The project is grounded in a unique analytical approach:
Gastronomic Negotiation Profiling Model (GNPM)
Taste → Behavior → Negotiation Style
Diplomatic Kitchen with Kristine is an international media and research-oriented initiative exploring the intersection of diplomacy, human behavior, and gastronomy.
The project is grounded in a central proposition:
Food is not only culture — it is a language of negotiation, identity, and decision-making.
Throughout history, gastronomy has played a subtle yet powerful role in resolving tensions and building alliances. From state banquets to informal shared meals, food has functioned as a neutral diplomatic space, where trust is built, hierarchies are softened, and dialogue becomes possible.
This initiative expands that understanding by examining:
How shared meals have historically contributed to conflict de-escalation
The role of hospitality in negotiation environments
“Kitchen diplomacy” as an informal yet effective mechanism of trust-building
How nutrition influences cognitive function, emotional regulation, and negotiation behavior
The impact of eating patterns (slow vs. fast, structured vs. chaotic) on personality and communication style
The connection between sensory experience (taste, texture) and psychological perception
How dietary habits shape physical presence and non-verbal communication
The relationship between lifestyle, discipline, and professional conduct
What eating habits reveal about structure, control, flexibility, and adaptability
Through food, we discover:
cultural background
psychological state
personal structure and habits
emotional and cognitive patterns
Taste is a language, and it can be read.
We invite experts from diverse disciplines, including:
Law and international relations
Mediation and diplomacy
Science and academia (physics, geology, AI, etc.)

We are particularly interested in individuals who:
Value dialogue and human connection

Appreciate the intersection of culture, identity, and professional thinking
Selected experts will be invited to take part in:
Online or in-person interviews
